Most people I know have "health insurance", either through their employer or a personal policy. Insurance is great for paying DOCTORS, HOSPITALS, PHARMACIES, but Insurance DOES NOT PAY YOU! If you are ill or injured, having surgery, etc.......you are going to miss work! After you exhaust any "sick days" you may have, who is going to pay YOU so you can pay your rent/mortgage, utilities, groceries, car payments, etc?
